Couples and muffins

I took the MRT last night, as the tram was already full, I took my spot and stood. I developed this habit of people-watching in one of my jobs way back in college. As there were slumps in the day when no customer would go into the shop, I would often watch the comings and goings of people around. It gets entertaining when you put lines on the unheard words people are saying. Back to the MRT,… I saw this couple right in front of me, the girl was on my left and the guy was on my right. The girl would be sweet and stuff, she would nibble on the guy’s ear, she would wrap her arm around his shoulder, and there were times that she would massage his hand. He’s a lucky dog!!! And reading the expression on his face: he was irritated. Either he’s uncomfortable for whatever reason, or he’s married and not to her! I got off earlier than they did so I never knew the denouement to that story.
DOUBLESPACE.
I have been pretty frustrated lately, nothing is going my way. I needed a hobby, and I decided making desserts or anything… Hello belly!!! Earlier I made leche flan, it didn’t turn out as I expected because I baked it. I usually just steam it.
I got a recipe from the internet over the weekend. I tried making muffins. Lookie, lookie:
Double Chocolate Muffins |

| Unlike most muffins, these don’t have any redeeming nutritional value, but they are delicious, so I can’t resist making them anyways! | |
| Ingredients: | |

1 3/4 cups flour |

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well. In a medium bowl mix the egg, milk, butter and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture over the dry ingredients, and mix lightly, just enough to moisten. Set aside about 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips, and mix the rest into the batter. Spoon into muffin tins that have been greased or lined with paper muffin cups. Sprinkle reserved white chocolate chips over the tops of the muffins. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. |

The recipe came from here. I used the small kisses from Hershey’s, instead of white chocolate chips. Lovely.
