Poem: Desperation
November 24, 2006 by glitch0530
Sitting on a megalith
Beside the chafing sea,
Watching birds that flock
As far as the eye can see.
The crisp soft breeze echoes
The lonely sobs i make
My spirit far to travel
My solitude do take.
I close my eyes to fight
The memories we’ve made
I clutch my heavy heart
The happy I forbade.
Beyond the crimson horizon
Depicts the lost passion
To darkness as it loses
The embering emotion.
Forgefulness be mine!
Enchain this confused mind,
My battered soul give rest,
Wipe dry the tearful eyes.
A moment for respite
Myself to be complete
The thief I gave so freely
My heart give back to me!
