Wondering what may have been
Should I have done this or that,
Thinking what could’ve been
The present could have been naught.
To do things now or later,
To act or think to ponder,
We find the strength to muster
Our faith will take us further.
To spend no time in reverie
In sleep we partake our dreams,
With blistered hands and calloused feet

Sitting on a megalith
Beside the chafing sea,
Watching birds that flock
As far as the eye can see.
The crisp soft breeze echoes
The lonely sobs i make
My spirit far to travel
My solitude do take.
I close my eyes to fight
The memories we’ve made
I clutch my heavy heart
The happy I forbade.
Beyond the crimson horizon
Depicts the lost passion
